Ingredients

  • Full fat milk – 1 liter
  • Milk powder – ½ cup
  • Grated paneer – 1 ½ cup
  • Sugar – 1 cup
  • Crushed cardamom – 1 tsp
  • Clarified butter (ghee) – 1 tbsp
  • Pistachios – for garnishing

Method

  • Take a deep pan and add full fat milk and stir it. After that add milk powder, grated paneer and mix it well.
  • Further add sugar and stir it till it achieves a thick consistency. Then add cardamom, clarified butter and mix it properly.
  • Now take a grinding jar and grind the mixture. After that take the mixture out on a plate and let it cool down on room temperature.
  • After the mixture has cooled down completely, roll them into round balls. Lightly press it down so it looks like small patty
  • Garnish the Pedas with Pistachios.
  • Pedas should be served at room temperature.
