Ingredients

  • Fenugreek leaves - 1 cup
  • Gram flour - 2 cup
  • Cilantro leaves - 1 cup
  • Green chillies - 2 nos.
  • Green garlic - 1/2 cup
  • Grated ginger - 1 tbsp
  • Lemon juice - 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Baking soda - 1 tsp
  • Water as required
  • Oil for frying

Method

  • Take fenugreek leaves and wash it properly. Then first remove the back steams and further finely chopped it. Keep it aside.
  • Same way chopped the cilantro leaves finely. Further cut the green chillies. You can add green chillies as per your taste. If you like spicy then you add more green chillies.
  • Now, same way chopped the green garlic as well. And take them in a bowl.
  • After this, take a bowl add fenugreek leaves, cilantro leaves, green chillies, green garlic, grated ginger, add salt as per taste and lastly add gram flour step by step.
  • Now, with the help of hand mix it and further add baking soda to make batter soft and fluffy. Mix it well.
  • After that add water and gram flour and mix it well. You can see the batter. Prepare this type of consistency so you can drop the bhajiya nicely.
  • Then, take a pan heat up the oil, after 2-3 minutes add little amount of batter to check wheather oil is ready to fry or not.
  • After that, drop small amount of batter as you can see in video, make small bhajiyas and fry them on low to medium flame. Fry until its turn into golden brown. And take them out.
  • Yummy, tasty and crispy Kumbhaniya Bhajiya is ready to serve.
