Ingredients
- Gram flour – 1 cup
- Water – as required
- Oil – for frying
- Sugar – 1 cup
- Water – 1 cup
- Saffron Water – 1 tbsp
- Cardamom powder – 1 tsp
- Almond slits – as required
- Clarified butter (ghee) – 1 tbsp
Method
- Take a bowl add gram flour and water and make a semi thick batter for boondi.
- Now heat the oil, put the besan batter into the strainer and tab like this.
- Boondi will come out and will be round shape, it will set. Cook on low to medium flame until it becomes crisp. Boondi is ready and take them out.
- Further, take a pan add sugar, water and stir it till sugar melts. Sugar syrup is ready.
- Add cardamom powder and mix it well. After that add fry boondi and mix it properly.
- Then add almond slits and mix it. Turn off the flame and keep it a side for cool.
