Malai Kofta

Ingredients
- Clarified butter (ghee) – 1 tbsp
- Onion sliced – 3 to 4 nos
- Garlic cloves – 8 to 10 nos
- Chopped tomatoes – 2 nos
- Ginger – 1 inch
- Green chillies – 2 to 3 nos
- Cashew nuts – 7 to 8
- Boiled potatoes – 4 to 5 nos
- Paneer – 100 gram
- Corn flour – 2 tbsp
- Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Refined flour (maida) – for coating
- Oil for frying
- Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
- Red chilli powder – 1 tbsp
- Coriander powder – 1 tbsp
- Pomegranate powder – 1 tsp
- Garam masala – 2 tsp
- Water as required
- Kasuri methi – 1 tsp
- Fresh cream – for garnish
Method
- Take a pan, add clarified butter (ghee), onion and cook the onions till they turn into golden brown.
- Now add garlic clove and sauté for a minute.
- Add tomatoes, ginger, green chillies, cashew nuts and cook for 2-3 minute. Cover and cook for 4 to 5 minutes.
- Now open the lid and mix it well. Keep it aside. Grind into a fine puree and keep aside for later use.
- Take a boiled potato and grate them. Also great the paneer. Now take them in a bowl.
- Add corn flour in a bowl, red chilli powder, salt to taste and mix everything properly.
- Now make medium size balls and coat with maida. Fry these balls until golden brown.
- Turn the other side. Then remove it in absorbent paper.
- Now take a pan, add ghee, tomato onion puree, turmeric powder, redchillii powder, pomegranate powder, garam masala and cook well for 4 to 5 minutes.
- Then add water as required, salt to taste and mix it properly.
- Add kasuri methi for good taste. Stir and cook for 2 to 3 minutes. Now add kofta ball in a serving bowl. Pour gravy on it.
