Hot & Sour Soup

Ingredients

  • Oil – 2 tbsp
  • Garlic clove (finely chopped) – 5
  • Ginger (finely chopped) – 2 inch
  • Green Chilli (finely chopped) – 3
  • Spring onion (chopped) – 1 tbsp
  • Carrot (finely chopped) – ½ cup
  • Cabbage (finely chopped) – ½ cup
  • Capsicum (finely chopped) – 1.5 tbsp
  • Beans (finely chopped) – 1 tbsp
  • Water – 10 cups
  • Soy sauce – 2 tbsp
  • Vinegar – 2 tbsp
  • Chilli sauce – 2 tsp
  • Pepper powder – 1 tsp
  • Salt – 1.5 tsp
  • Corn flour slurry – ½ cup

Method

  • Firstly, take a heavy bottom pan, add oil, garlic clove (finely chopped), ginger (finely chopped), finely chopped green chilli and sauté it on medium flame.
  • Now, add chopped spring onion and mix it well. Further add finely chopped carrot, finely chopped cabbage, finely chopped beans and mix everything well.
  • Then, add water and stir it on medium flame. And cook for 5 minutes. Add soy sauce, vinegar, chilli sauce, pepper powder and mix it properly.
  • Further add salt to taste, finely chopped capsicum and mix it well. Then add corn flour slurry and stir it on medium to low flame. Cook for 10 minutes and keep it aside.
  • Yummy and tasty Hot and Sour Soup is ready to serve.
