Ingredients

  • Grated BottleGourd (Doodhi) – 150 grm
  • Fenugreek leaves (Methi) – 1 cup
  • Cilantro – 1 cup
  • Garlic Chili paste – 1 tbsp
  • Sugar – 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Coriander powder – 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
  • Red chili powder – 1 tsp
  • Garam masala – ½ tsp
  • Fennel seeds (Variyali) – 1 tsp
  • Oil – 1 tbsp
  • Corn flour – ¼ cup
  • Ragi flour – ½ cup
  • Wheat flour – ½ cup
  • Water – 3 cup
  • Mustard seeds – 1 tsp
  • Sesame seeds – 1 tsp
  • Curry leaves – 7- 8

Method

  • Firstly, take bottlegourd and grated it. Then fenugreek leaves, cilantro, garlic chili paste, sugar, salt to taste.
  • Now, add coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, fennel seeds, oil and mix it well.
  • Then, add corn flour, ragi flour, wheat flour and mix the mixture properly.
  • Add flour if required and then knead the dough.
  • Take water in a pan, cover it and grease the plate with oil.
  • Now, grease your palm with oil and make small roll and put it on a plate for steam.
  • Cook for 25 minutes on medium to low flame.
  • Then check weather it’s ready or not. Now, take them out and cut into the pieces.
  • Now, take a pan add oil, mustard seeds, sesame seeds, curry leaves, and add cut muthiya and cook it for 2 - 3 minutes.
  • Lastly, garnish with cilantro on top. Ready to serve.
