Ingredients

  • Rice flour - 1 cup
  • Gram flour - ½ cup
  • Cumin seeds - ½ tbsp
  • Carom seeds - ½ tbsp
  • Red chilli powder - 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder - ¼ tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tbsp
  • Powder sugar – 1 tbsp
  • Asafoetida - ¼ tbsp
  • Melted clarified butter (ghee) – 3 tbsp
  • Warm water as required
  • Oil – 1 tbsp
  • Curd – 2 tbsp

Method

  • Take one bowl then add rice flour, gram flour, cumin seeds, carom seeds, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, sesame seeds, and asafoetida, melted ghee, oil, curd & mis everything properly.
  • Now, pour little warm water and mix well. Add water as required & knead a proper dough.
  • Take some part of dough & add into a chakli maker and make roll of Chakli stuff.
  • Take any plate or chopping board and keep butter paper over it. Roll Chakli maker slowly on it.
  • Now, take oil in a wok, add chakli and fry on medium flame. Cook till they turn into golden brown from both the sides. Take them out.
  • Crispy chakli is ready to serve.
