Ingredients & Method

Ingredients

  • Oil - 2 tbsp
  • Ginger (chopped) – 1 tsp
  • Onion (sliced) – ½ cup
  • Carrot (chopped) – 2 nos
  • Salt to taste
  • Water – 2 ½ cup
  • Mix herbs – 1 tsp
  • Black pepper powder – 1 tsp

Method

  • Firstly, take a pressure cooker add oil, ginger and sauté it for a minute. Then add onion and cook till they turn into light color.
  • Further add carrot and sauté on low flame. Add salt as per taste and mix it well.
  • Add water and cover the pressure cooker and cook for 3 whistles. Now open the lid and mix it once.
  • Now drain off and cool completely. The transfer the cooked carrot into the blender, close the jar and blend to smooth puree.
  • Further take carrot puree into large kadai and add in leftover water. Mix it well.
  • Then add mix herbs, black pepper powder, salt to taste and then mix everything properly. Boil adjusting consistency as required. Boil it on medium flame.
