Ingredients & Method

Ingredients

  • Salt as per taste
  • Rice 1cup (soak for 15 mins.)
  • Oil 2tbsp.
  • Chopped onion 1
  • Cabbage ½ cup
  • Beans 4
  • Carrot 1
  • Green bell pepper 1 (small size)
  • Schezwan sauce - 3tbsp.
  • Spring onion for garnishing
  • Water 6-8cups

Method

  • Wash rice and soak it in a bowl for 15 minutes.
  • Take a pan and place it on stove
  • Add water in a pan
  • Once the water starts boiling add salt
  • Add soaked rice in the boiling water
  • Strain the rice and place it in a plate to cool down
  • Heat the pan on high flame and add oil
  • Add onion, green bell pepper, carrot, cabbage and beans
  • Cook vegetables for 15-20 seconds to keep them crispy
  • Mix all the vegetables properly and add salt
  • Add schezwan sauce and mix it well for approx. 30 seconds
  • Add boiled rice to the vegetables and mix it well
  • Garnish it with spring onion
